At the 2006 Valley Forward Environmental Excellence Awards, the East Valley Water Forum received the coveted Crescordia Award in the category of "Livable Communities - Resource Management". The term "Crescordia" comes from the Greek, meaning "To Grow in Harmony". We are very proud to have received this award and look forward to continuing our efforts in the spirit of regional collaboration and partnership. The East Valley Water Forum (EVWF) is a partnership of tribal, public and private water agencies and interested stakeholders involved in water resource management in the East Salt River Valley of Arizona.
Our MissionOur mission is to develop reliable water supplies through partnerships and a cooperative regional approach to water resource planning and management, including regional recharge and recovery facilities. Our goal is to develop and implement an East Valley water resource plan which incorporates a regional approach to water quantity and water quality planning.
