Phase 2 - Drought Scenarios (2011):
During the Water Management Plan Scenario Development Process, EVWF members
recognized early on that scenarios for drought conditions came with many
variables (i.e., surface water shortages, conservation strategies, climate,
etc.). Therefore, the members determined the best way to evaluate these
variables was to complete the Water Management Plan as a first phase, and then
conduct Drought Scenarios as the second phase of the Water Management Plan.
The East Valley Water Forum, with hydrologic groundwater modeling being
conducted by Bureau of Reclamation, has completed the drought scenarios for the East Salt River Valley and those plan documents are available below
for downloading.
